Located fifteen minutes from I-40 in Oppelo, Arkansas on 27 acres of primitive camping at the base of beautiful and historic Petit Jean Mountain, is the best place in Arkansas to view the 2024 eclipse.

This beautiful piece of paradise is located in the path of totality, with rolling hills and wide open spaces and the backdrop of Petit Jean Mountain in your backyard, you'll experience unhindered access to what is going to be a historic event.

If you are planning to experience the eclipse in person, and ready to see this splendor of nature and beauty tied together that only the Petit Jean area can offer, along with a fun solar eclipse camping experience, Ada Valley Camping is where you need to camp. 

We offer spacious and unobstructed viewing for your 2024 Solar Eclipse Camping experience with primitive camping for RVs, campers, and tents. Located just a few miles from our base camp, is Petit Jean Mountain where endless miles of hiking trails, waterfalls and breathtaking scenery await you at our destination.

Enjoy large uncrowded primitive campsites with on-site amenities for your stay, including port-a-potties, water and a large dumpster. Pets are allowed for the event.

The price of a primitive campsite for the week is $525.00 plus 8.25% sales tax for a total of $568.31. You have the option of pitching a tent wherever you wish within the 27 acres, which includes a beautiful small pond, an acre gravel flat, and multiple open fields and hillsides.

Port-a-potties will be located at strategic locations near each of these venues.

In order to reserve a campsite, the principal party must be 18 years of age or older. No adult will be admitted into the campground without a signed release form on record. Please contact me at the above-mentioned number and I will email the form to you.

Not interested in camping but you’d like to have a place away from the towns and freeway to park and experience the eclipse? We are providing parking spots for those interested in being out in nature to view the eclipse for $150.00.
